UX Designer (Maternity Cover)
We are looking for a passionate User Experience Designer to join our product trio focused on onboarding and user adoption at e-conomic.
Collaboration is key, which means you daily will be working closely together in a product trio (UX, PM and Tech lead) and other stakeholders to improve existing workflows, developing new features and solving problems for our users. In addition to improving e-conomic as a product, you will collaborate with our talented UX designers to advance how we approach UX within our team. You’ll also have the opportunity to receive feedback on your design process, share fresh ideas in our monthly learning sessions, and thrive in a supportive and innovative environment.
Note: This role is a maternity cover, running from as soon as possible until the end of May 2025 (with the possibility of extension).
In this role, you will:
- Be part of a supportive centralised UX team of 14, that strive to evangelize UX and always push for a design thinking approach.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts and product managers to align expectations and ensure that the customers' voices are embedded in our decision-making.
- Apply your UX toolbox filled with different research techniques on how to get meaningful insights through qualitative and quantitative research.
- Join forces with our design system team to ensure consistent user experience across our applications.Test and validate ideas, hypotheses and prototypes with our customers.
About you
- You are passionate about understanding our customers' needs, behaviour and motivations. The users always comes first, and you strive to keep them at the centre of your design process in order to create solutions that are accessible, intuitive and enjoyable to use.
- You are a curious soul who finds it interesting to know why people are using a product. You seek to get under the skin of our customers’ complexity and turn this complexity into a solution that meets the users needs.
- You have experience working as an UX generalist and experience within end-to-end design processes. Additionally you might have some experience working as a UX specialist in design systems, UI or UX research.
- You are self-motivated and responsible, capable of independently solving problems with your product trio and making decisions while also receiving guidance from your team lead.
You’ll be successful in this role, if you have:
- 1-2 years professional experience and a proven track-record of your previous work.
- You are excellent at communicating in English (written and oral) and Danish (oral).
- You have experience designing enterprise/B2B/SaaS products.
- A proficiency in UX design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. Practical experience with different ideation and research methodologies. You are data-driven and skilled at using research and testing to inform your design decisions.
- A collaborative mindset. You are able to facilitate, structure and drive workshops. Strong communication skills. You are visualising your ideas and processes to make sure your work is clearly understood.
- A creative mindset and a can-do attitude. You are not afraid to take risks, experiment and explore new ideas.

The recruitment process

1. First interview
This is a first meet and greet with Jessica, for you to learn more about the role and for us to learn more about you. It will last about 90 minutes, and we'd like for you to present 1-2 projects from your portfolio (if you have any).
2. Second interview
Dive deeper into the role with Jessica and Hanne, where there'll also be a personality test feedback session. In total this interview will last about 60 minutes.
Prior to the interview you'll prepare for a brief case discussion and conduct a personality test, with an expected total prep time of around 4.5 hours.
