As our new Growth Strategist, you’ll be the one who thrives in that ambiguity. The one who brings structure to bold ideas, helps validate what’s real, and makes sure the best bets move forward fast.

At Growth Lab, you’ll play a central role in shaping where Visma e-conomic goes next – not by optimising today’s business, but by finding and proving the bets that could fuel the next decade.
This isn’t a role where you inherit a playbook.
You create it.
You’ll bring structure to the chaos of ideation, transform trends and insights into opportunities worth betting on, and make sure the best ideas don’t die in a slide deck – but move forward, fast.
In practice, that means:
Building the processes and frameworks that make Growth Lab the engine of future growth.
Driving ideation, incubation and validation – ensuring speed and rigour at every step.
Acting as the connector who brings the right people together, clears roadblocks, and keeps momentum high.
Documenting and scaling learnings into playbooks others can use long after.
Simply put, your fingerprint will be all over the next wave of growth bets we pursue.
Your Work
A typical week could include:
Designing and running ideation or validation workshops with stakeholders.
Synthesizing market trends, research and scattered inputs into clear recommendations.Documenting insights and building repeatable processes so every new incubation is faster and sharper than the last.
Partnering with stakeholders across Product, Strategy, and the business to align on direction and decisions.
Occasionally stepping into incubation projects yourself – ensuring structure, removing blockers, and keeping momentum high.
Your Team
You’ll join a small, ambitious squad. Currently we’re three full-time Growth Lab strategists with backgrounds in building, innovating and scaling. We also draw on 5+ colleagues across Product and Strategy who dedicate part of their time to the Lab.
We’re not here to build features. We’re here to identify and validate the big bets – and then hand them off for scaling across e-conomic. You’ll work closely with Casper Düna and other leaders, but with high independence to shape and run processes.

Here’s the truth: most startups fail. Even the ones backed by big companies.
That’s why Growth Lab exists. Not to guarantee wins, but to give us a place where we can test, learn, and figure out which big bets are actually worth scaling. Some ideas will fly. Most won’t. And that’s okay, because every experiment gets us closer to the future we want to build.
To thrive here, you’ll need to be comfortable with ambiguity. We don’t have all the answers. We haven’t figured everything out. And we don’t expect you to either.
What we do hope is that you bring the mindset and focus to:
Find clarity in the fog by structuring ideas without killing creativity.
Keep momentum, even when next steps aren’t obvious.
Stay curious and humble, because every “failed” idea carries learnings that feed the next.

What We’re Looking For
We imagine you bring some of this to the table:
Process orientation: You can’t help but bring structure, clarity and repeatability to messy ideas.
Proactivity & ownership: You define what’s next without waiting for instructions.
Workshop facilitation: You can prepare, run and follow up sessions that turn ideas into next steps.
Research & synthesis: You digest scattered inputs (market signals, founder ideas, AI output) and turn them into actionable insights.
Stakeholder communication: You build trust and alignment across both senior leaders and hands-on teams.
Fluency in Danish, as many of your customer interactions will take place in Danish.
Bonus if you also bring:
Creative ideation skills: Spotting new opportunities yourself.
A commercial mindset: Able to think in business models, not just processes.
Experience from consulting, venture labs or scale-ups where growth and experimentation were the name of the game.

Applications are reviewed continuously, and we invite candidates for interviews as we go.
Initial screening:
Brief initial chat with Hanne, Talent Acquisition Partner, to learn more about your motivation and align on compensation.
1st interview:
Meet Casper Düna, Senior Growth Strategist, and Hanne. Interview duration: ~60 min.
2nd interview:
Dive deeper into the role with Casper and a colleague from Growth Lab. You’ll receive a personality in advance, and case for you to prepare (total prep: ~2 hourse). Interview duration: ~90 min.
3rd interview:
Meet the team, and our Chief Product Officer, Christian Wook.
If all interviews align, we typically follow up with two short reference calls as part of the process.
