We’re looking for an AI Product Lead to own and drive the entire AI agenda across our Product organization. You join as a domain expert, trusted to independently define direction, make product decisions, and turn advanced AI technologies into reliable, high-impact products used by more than 250,000 businesses.

Your role

You act as the anchor for our new portfolio of AI led products across our Product Management organization. This means full ownership of the AI agenda: setting direction, defining the roadmap, and deciding what we build, when, and why. You operate with a high degree of autonomy and are accountable for turning strategy into shipped products that create measurable user value.

Your focus is to deeply understand the workflows, pain points, and ambitions of Accountants & Advisors, and translate those needs into ambitious, concrete AI product solutions that fundamentally change how accounting work is done.

A core part of this role is to lead the development of agentic AI products that take on meaningful work on behalf of AOs and transform how accounting tasks are executed in practice. By “agentic”, we mean AI systems that can autonomously execute defined accounting tasks within clear boundaries, with transparency, control, and auditability for the user.

Your long-term ambition is to radically improve productivity in bookkeeping.

In the near term, your goal is to deliver measurable efficiency gains for AOs, with time saved as the primary success metric.

 As AI Product Lead, you will:

• Own and drive the AI product strategy across e-conomic

• Turn a bold AI vision into clear narratives, actionable roadmaps, and shipped products

• Build AI-driven accounting experiences that significantly reduce manual work while maintaining transparency, control, and auditability

• Act as the leading expert on AI and agentic systems within the Product organization

• You are a key thought partner to our CPO and Product Directors, while independently owning decisions related to AI product direction, prioritization, and execution.

Your team

You will join our Product Management organization in Copenhagen and be part of a Product Trio, working in close partnership with Tech and UX. Within the trio, you act as the product go-to on AI, holding final responsibility for product direction and prioritization.

You will collaborate closely with Accounting SMEs, Business Analysts, and Data experts to ensure we build the right solutions.

This is a full-time position reporting into Product Management, with Andreas Rafn (Product Director) as your direct leader. We believe in the energy of meeting face-to-face to solve complex problems, so while we operate in a flexible hybrid setup, we expect regular on-site collaboration.

About the broader Products department (R&D)

You will be joining our development organization Products (R&D) with +180 employees, primarily located in Denmark, Romania and Portugal. We are a diverse group of more than 20 nationalities, including Developers, Product Managers, QA Engineers, and UX Designers.

What we imagine you’ll bring

We imagine you as a builder who thrives in the zero-to-one phase of product development. You likely have experience within B2B SaaS and have acted as a lead or founding Product Manager on complex 0→1 initiatives.

You’re comfortable steering products from the spark of an idea through launch and iteration, aligning senior stakeholders and engineering teams along the way. You operate confidently at the intersection of commercial strategy and technical complexity, bridging what is possible with what is valuable.

Most importantly, you have experience shipping data-, ML-, or LLM-powered products, owning the full journey from idea to launch to iteration.

Beyond your mindset, we are looking for:

• AI & Technical Fluency:
  You collaborate naturally with Data/ML/AI teams and can discuss models, data, and failure modes at a conceptual level. You bring experience with — or a huuuuge curiosity for — agentic systems, orchestration frameworks, or developer-facing platforms.

• Discovery & Problem Solving Skills:

  You excel at sharp problem definitions, focused roadmaps, and evidence-based prioritization.

• Safety & Governance:

  You understand the importance of AI safety, governance, and auditability in finance-like domains.

• Domain Experience or Curiosity:
  You have existing knowledge in accounting or the ability to quickly acquire it.

• Excellent communication skills in English. Danish is a plus, but not a requirement.

Initial screening:

1st interview:

Meet up with Andreas, Product Director, where we’ll learn more about you and your motivation, and you’ll get to know the role more in depth. Duration: ~60 min.

2nd interview:

Dive deeper into the role with Andreas and a colleague from Products. Prior to the interview, you'll receive a case that we'd like for you to prepare in advance.

Expect total prep: ~4 hours, and interview duration: ~90 min.

3rd interview:

For this interview, we'll dive into your logical and personality test that you have completed in advance. Further, you'll get to meet the team, and Christian Wook, our Chief Product Officer.

Expect total prep: ~30 hours, and interview duration: ~60 min.

If all interviews align, we typically follow up with two short reference calls as part of the process.
