Senior Product Manager – AI-Native Builder
Build the B2B SaaS Accounting platform of the future
At e-conomic, AI is reshaping how Danish businesses and accounting offices work. We aren't just adapting to this shift; we are leading it from a position of unmatched strength. With over 300,000 active customer agreements, 20+ years of financial data, and an embedded compliance moat, our structural advantage is massive.
We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to own a major product area inside one of our key value streams - automation, AI, advisory and future growth - where our strategy unfolds.
We need a proven builder. Someone who operates with high autonomy, handles complex system boundaries, and actively elevates the AI proficiency and execution bar for product management.
The Role
As a Senior Product Manager, you will take full ownership of a major problem end-to-end. You won't wait for work to be handed to you; you will shape the roadmap, frame the problems, decompose complex rule-bound processes, and design solutions that lead to high-impact business outcomes.
You work end-to-end, from discovery to delivery, with design, engineering and the wider business - and you do it with an AI-native practice, not a traditional one
What you will do:
Own a major product area: Own a broad product area alongside engineering and design, taking full responsibility for its outcome metrics (e.g. hours saved, touchless approval rates, retention)
Defend product choices within your stream: Map out now, next, later roadmaps and defend them directly to product leadership based on rigorous discovery and hard data.
Pioneer AI-native working methods: You already hand real work to agents and can show what came back - prototyping, evals, research, data synthesis - and you become the benchmark other PMs copy.
Master complex domain boundaries: Decompose intricate financial or compliance processes into elegant, scalable automated steps.
Raise the bar & disagree well: Bring an outside-in view to challenge internal assumptions, mentor junior PMs, and drive higher execution speed.
Where the role sits
You'll own your product area working together with Product Design and Product Engineering, with the Product Lead who carries the value stream's overall business outcome - the complex product problems inside that stream are yours. You'll work directly with engineering across team boundaries, with our Product Intelligence team on measurement, and you'll present and defend your direction to the product leadership.
e-conomic is a product-led company, and we are building the product organisation to match: cross-functional collaboration, short build-to-learn loops, and direct contact with our customers.
Your Profile
You are a seasoned SaaS Product Manager with a track record of taking complex products from discovery through production. You thrive on autonomy, question the status quo, and care more about validated user outcomes than shipping long backlogs.
4+ years of experience as a Product Manager owning production B2B SaaS or platform products with active users at scale.
Proven AI-native builder: You actively use AI tools in your daily workflow (prototyping, scripts, custom evals, complex data analysis) and can demonstrate working artifacts you’ve built.
Advanced discovery & metrics: Demonstrated ability to run hypothesis-driven discovery, set quantitative baselines before building, and prove measurable business impact.
Technical & data fluency: Deep comfort with SQL (or equivalent), data modeling, and collaborating directly with senior engineering architects.
Accountable for accuracy, not just adoption: You've owned a product where the system is sometimes wrong - and you owned the metric that said how often, plus the human check and exception path that made it safe to ship.
Language: Fluent in professional English, plus full proficiency in Danish, Norwegian, or Swedish (must be able to read Danish regulatory context and hold deep interviews with Danish customers).
Nice-to-Have:
Experience in accounting, fintech, platform products, or Danish compliance (Bookkeeping Act,).
Direct experience building agentic/LLM software (evals, skill/prompt design, human-in-the-loop UX, handling non-deterministic output).
Experience in outcome-organized product structures or multi-team value streams.
(Note: If you are an exceptional AI-native builder without deep accounting domain knowledge, apply anyway—we will teach you the domain).
