Visma e-conomic's People & Culture team is entering its next chapter – and it needs someone to lead that shift. As Head of People & Culture, you'll steer the team through the transformation and build on the trust the business already has.

e-conomic is Denmark’s market-leading cloud-based accounting and financial platform for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), based in Copenhagen. Product and AI are company-wide priorities right now, and what the business needs from People & Culture moves with them – quarter by quarter, sometimes faster.

So the question this role owns isn't how do we do more of what we already do? It's what value should People & Culture actually deliver to this business, and how do we get there without growing the team.

THE ROLE

You'll report to Emilie (our COO) and lead People & Culture as a single, unified function; managing a 10+ team across People Operations, Talent Acquisition, and People Business Partnering. This isn't a layer above sub-team leads; you're the one point of leadership for the whole team, giving Emilie a clear, trusted voice on people topics to bring to the leadership table.

You'll also be part of a broader leadership group alongside the Head of Legal, Head of Communications, and Business Operations Manager – bringing these functions closer together to fully exploit the synergies between them.

Your Impact

• Set the vision and strategy for People & Culture: This isn't a fixed playbook to execute, because here's real room to shape how the team operates and put your own stamp on it.

• Bring a commercial lens to People & Culture: Understanding what drives the business well enough to know which initiatives matter most, and when.

• Personally manage and develop the team: We’re 10+ people across People Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Business Partnering.

• Initiate and drive the team's transformation: Going from reactive to proactive, moving fast as new tools and technology reshape what's possible.

YOUR PROFILE

• You start with the business: Follow what it's trying to achieve and where it's stuck, and know which people initiatives matter most.

• You're a visionary with a plan: Provide a clear view of how you and your team get there.

• You've initiated and driven transformation in a People function: Change in how the team works and what it delivers, not a new system rollout.

• You've led an entire People function: Talent Acquisition, People Operations and People Business Partnering all reporting to you.

• You lead and develop people: You genuinely want to invest in how your people grow.

• Fluency in Danish and English will be an advantage.

The Interview Process

Applications are reviewed continuously, and we invite candidates for interviews as we go.

Initial screening: Conversation with Diana (Talent Partner) to learn more about your motivation and assess fit against the role's defined success criteria.

1st interview: Meet up with Emilie, COO, where we’ll learn more about you, and you’ll get to know the role more in depth. Duration: ~60 min.

2nd interview: Dive deep into the strategic complexity with Emilie and the hiring team. You’ll receive a business case and personality assessment in advance to prepare. We will dedicate at least 1 hour of this session to an interactive case presentation and strategic discussion.

If all interviews align, we typically follow up with two short reference calls as part of the process.
